What Is Mako Robotic Knee Replacement?

Mako robotic knee replacement is an advanced form of total knee replacement surgery performed with the assistance of the Mako SmartRobotics™ system. Before surgery, a CT scan is used to create a detailed three-dimensional model of the knee, allowing the surgeon to develop an individualized surgical plan.

During the procedure, the robotic system provides real-time guidance and haptic feedback while the surgeon remains in complete control throughout the operation.
